Thunk is the Math Basement’s dry wit and practical counterpoint to Riff. He is aware he is a character inside the software, and has thoughts about the arrangement.

In the studio, he asks the direct questions, checks the fine print and makes sure the grown ups know what they are getting. His contract includes math and moral support.
